Business Angels are sophisticated investors or high net worth individuals who invest on their own, or as part of a syndicate, in high growth businesses. In addition to money, they may often make their own skills, experience and contacts available.

CEBA specialises in businesses seeking less than £250,000 but has the capacity to raise £500,000. CEBA welcomes investors looking to make tax-efficient investment in SME’s based in Central England, which is much wider than just East and West Midlands. The majority of businesses will be vetted by CEBA and presented in an investment ready form with information enabling the investor to make an early decision in principle – the Investor Information Pack. Occasionally, a business may be sponsored by another network or a local fund. Details of the SME and relevant documentation will be available on the website (although hard copy can be supplied upon request). The website will enable investors to make investments either as individuals or in a group (commonly known as a syndicate), or both.

CEBA is well aware of the need to bring forward businesses that have been educated in the needs of investors and will screen opportunities with this intent. A complete “package” will be designed to cover pre-investment details to post funding support.
